Detroit Car Week will run from Sunday, August 20th to Thursday, August 24th. The event kicks off at noon on Sunday, August 20th and runs from 10:30am-10pm each subsequent event day.

Will there be seating for the drive-in movies?
Guests who do not have a classic/muscle/performance/niche car at the event are encouraged to stay for the drive-in movies and stadium/folding chairs are welcome.
Can I leave my car parked at the event overnight?

What if it rains?
Detroit Car Week is a rain or shine event, so please check the weather beforehand. Only in cases of extreme weather will we evacuate the event area, but only for the duration of severe weather (storm threatening lightning and/or winds).
Will credit/debit cards be accepted?
You bet! We will accept all major credit/debit cards.
Note: There will be a small convenience fee per card charge, so we recommend bringing cash!
Will there be ATMs onsite?
Yes. There will be at least one ATM onsite.
Can I bring my pet?
YES, dogs are allowed. Owners are asked to keep them on a leash, bring proper supplies to keep the park clean, and of course away from the participating show car’s tires!
Do I need an ID?
Guests are required to show valid ID only if they intend on drinking alcohol.
Is there a charity associated with Detroit Car Week?
A portion of the proceeds from Detroit Car Week will benefit The Detroit Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) and the Community Health & Social Services (CHASS) of Southwest Detroit.
DAWG is a nonprofit, no kill foster based rescue group that helps homeless, abandoned, and neglected animals. Their mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals in need or those at risk of euthanasia. They provide full medical care including spay/neuter and behavioral rehabilitation. DAWG’s focus is on animals in the metro Detroit area where there is severe neglect, abuse, lack of education, dog fighting and obsolete vet care. For more information visit DawgHous.com

Can I bring in my own food and beverage?
Because this event has a state regulated liquor license and health department licenses in place for the event, NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL OR BEVERAGES ARE PERMITTED – NO COOLERS ALLOWED. We have a great selection of pop, water, beer, cocktails and food available for sale at reasonable prices, so we invite you to visit our friendly bartenders and food vendors to enjoy some of our Motor City themed drinks and food available!Everything else at the event is free, the participating charities appreciate your support.
